TECHART Cayenne Turbo reaches a top speed of 321,2 km/h

by Ionut Dragomir

TECHART Cayenne TurboBRABUS claims that their 750 hp GLK V12 is the fastest street legal SUV in the world with a top speed of 322.3 km/h (200.3 mph).

Porsche tuner TECHART is right behind with their Cayenne Turbo, that reached 321,2 km/h (199.6 mph) at the same High Speed Event in Nardo, Italy.

While BRABUS claims their GLK V12 is the fastest SUV, TECHART claims their Cayenne Turbo is the fastest fullsize SUV. Lets face it, this bragging whose faster is pretty stupid in this case.

TECHART Cayenne Turbo is based on the Cayenne Turbo S technology packing 680 hp (130 hp more than the stock Cayenne Turbo S).

For the “record run” at moderate temperatures the TECHART Team chose Continental Cross Contact UHP high-performance tires on 22-inch TECHART Formula rims, which were exposed to specific loading as a result of the one-sided cornering on the circuit.
