Tesla prepares to release its first mass-market car, the Model 3, by the end of this year. However Tesla also has another crucial vehicle in the works.

In July 2016, Musk confirmed that Tesla prepares to bring a brand-new compact SUV to market, called the Model Y. And now we understand when to anticipate the vehicle.

Recently, Musk stated during the company’s first-quarter earnings call that the Model Y will show up by either late 2019 or 2020. It was the first time Musk had shared a timeline for the SUV.

Musk has been silent on the most details pertaining to the approaching vehicle, but he has talked usually about features concerning future Tesla automobiles and has yapped about the Model Y’s sibling automobile, the Model 3.

Based on his remarks, we gathered a list of some of the features we’ll likely see in Tesla Model Y, such as falcon-wing doors, solar roof, heads up display, autonomous capabilities, range of at least 238 miles per charge, extra cargo space, and others.
