Two people were killed after a car crashed into a semi-truck in Montgomery County, Maryland, Alabama.

The crash took place on Alabama 143 north, just two miles south of Millbrook, when the 1989 Chevrolet Blazer they were passengers in left the roadway, re-entered the roadway, and then hit a 2020 International MV607 just after 8 a.m. on July 15.

Individuals identified as Katie S. Foshee, 39 of Montgomery, and Donald C. Williamson, 32 of Wetumpka, were critically injured after the crash.

They were admitted to Baptist South Medical Center, where they later succumbed to their injuries.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating the crash.
