Two killed after crash between car and truck in Tujunga, California

Two people were killed after a car struck a box truck and was damaged underneath a big rig on the 210 Freeway in Tujunga, California on Tuesday.

The crash took place on the westbound 210 Freeway at La Tuna Canyon Road when a box truck and a big rig were parked on the side of the freeway and a Honda Civic hit the box truck before it became wedged underneath the big rig.

Two people were killed in the crash.

The big rig’s driver was not injured.

Four lanes of the freeway were closed for some hours while officials investigated the crash and cleared the scene.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
