A video from Chengdu, China shows an unmanned delivery vehicle being used for providing daily necessities to around 3,000 residents under home quarantine following risk of the spread of COVID-19.
Officials reported five local cases and one asymptomatic infection recently in the city, as such the city is experiencing restrictions on movement to curb the spread of further cases.
The vehicle in the video can carry up to 150 kilograms.
It is being used to deliver rice, flour, oil, fruit, vegetables, and other daily supplies to the residents.
The vehicle has been disinfected by workers after every delivery.
It can run for two days without needing any charging.
