Two killed after three-car crash in Egg Harbor Township

Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Delilah Road, in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey on Thursday afternoon.

Both victims were from Pennsylvania.

At about 1:30 Thursday, police were called to Delilah Road near the Garden State Parkway overpass over the report of a crash.

A 2015 Volkswagen, was being driven by a person identified as Timothy Millett, 51, from Clarks Summit Pennsylvania, who was traveling west on Delilah Road when it crossed the center line and crashed head-on with a 2013 Mazda CX9, which was being driven by John Ward, 52, from Pennsylvania, who was traveling east on Delilah Road.

A third vehicle, a 2014 Dodge Journey, being driven by Anthony Dorto, 50, from West Berlin, New Jersey, was also traveling east on Delilah Road and crashed with the rear of the Mazda after the initial collision.

Millett and his passenger, identified as Sara Hutchison, 35, from Clarks Summit Pennsylvania, were taken to AtlantiCare Trauma Center in Atlantic City where both succumbed to their injuries.

Dorto was taken to AtlantiCare Mainland with moderate injuries.

Delilah Road was closed for over three hours as they investigated the accident and cleared the scene.
