One of the most impressing racing cars of the moment is James Glickenhaus’ Ferrari P4/5 Competizione, which took the lead at this year’s 24 hours of Nurburgring. And despite the fact that the majority of people thought that this will be a sliver of racing history, this may now turn into something much more interesting.
Appearently, the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione is preparing to receive an upgrade for the next racing year, something a bit unconventional for a one-off model.
The current model is built on a Ferrari 430 Scuderia base and uses a custom-built Ferrari F136 DOHC V8 engine that delivers a total of 483 HP and 343 pound-feet of torque. Modifications are believed to be made to the engine for better air flow and a decrease in pressure, and to the cornering stability, having the dark carbon black color scheme maintained.
Unfortunately, for the moment, all we can offer you are these computer generated images, that we hope will give you a better idea about the new Ferrari P4/5 Competizione planned.
We will obviously keep our eyes and ears open for more information regarding all the details and the updates of the new version of the model. Until then, check the photos!
