Video: Mercedes SLS AMG Desert Gold on the road

The SLS AMG Desert Gold made its public debut last week at the Dubai Auto Show. This matt gold finished supercar features the same 6.3-liter V8 that produces 571 hp as the standard SLS AMG.

All the decorative and mounted features that are in shining chrome or Silver Shadow in the standard SLS AMG have been given a deep-black paint finish.

Light alloy AMG wheels are black-painted in size 9.5 x 19 at the front and 11.0 x 20 at the rear with a golden ring on the rim flange.

At the moment there is just one example, but with enough demand this special edition could become available in the near future.
