Volkswagen Beetle Remix Special Edition Announced

This time its the sweet looking Beetle which is getting a treatment of Special Edition, in a world full of Specials Editions. And the latest one from Volkswagen is the new “Beetle Remix” which happens to have launched in Germany, making it more special are some cosmetic add-ons.

The center section of the Dashboard,the door panels and the applications on the three-spoke steering wheel are draped in High “Glossy Black” or “Reflex silver” paint depending on the choice of the Exterior Colour. The same color is also applied on an exterior decorative film with the word “Beetle” or “Kafer” on the side skirts and the mirror caps.

Some of the Standard features found on the Beetle Remix are, leather wrap around the Steering wheel, gear knob, and handbrake grip, Park Pilot, cruise control system, VW’s multimedia system, air conditioning, center armrest and 17-inch alloy wheels.

About its Powertrain, it is said that in Germany itself, there are four engines, which are available for the special edition Beetle, including a pair of turbocharged petrol unit delivering 105PS (104hp) and 160PS (158hp), and two diesels with 105PS (104hp) and 138hp (140PS). And the prices for these Unit begin from €20,250 (about US$26,300).
