by Will Parker

Usually we do not talk here about cheap cars and that is why we have not submitted any articles about Tata Motors Nano, which is the cheapest car in the world made by the Indian car maker.

Well it seems that suddenly the cheapest car in the world has just become one of the most expensive ones. Do you think that this is due to advanced technologies or even for its powerful engine and aerodynamic shape? No way!

This vehicle is practically the same car, but the automaker decided to decorate it with 80 kilograms of gold and 15 kilograms of silver, semiprecious and precious stones. Now, not only it looks very unnatural, but it got even slower because the extra weight.

As normal, the first question that comes to mind is: why? It seems that Tata Motors decided to do this as part of a marketing campaign to attract new customers into the brand. The ultra-luxurious Tata Nano will hit several Indian showrooms in the next six months, in cities where the car maker owns local dealerships.

Tata’s now built a gold-encrusted Nano worth $4.6 million as a publicity stunt.

So, what do you think about this… car? You can share your thoughts in the comment section below.
