An updated version of the Chevrolet Trailblazer will be introduced in India early in 2017. The facelift was initially unveiled during the Bangkok Motor Show in March this year.
One unit of the 2017 Trailblazer has presently been imported to India for approval on regulative requirements and specifications.
The present buff appearance of the current Trailblazer will get a more aggressive makeover. The vehicle will get a revised front grille, headlamps with integrated DRLs, front bumper with large air vents, a more structured bonnet and bigger fog lights.
Chevrolet have provided it chrome detailing and a brand-new set of alloys with lower profile tires. The length of the vehicle has increased as well, by 9mm.
The vehicle will get a new dashboard and MyLink infotainment system with Android Auto and CarPlay as basic.
It will also include alternatives of functions like blind warning help, lane change help, accident warning, front parking sensors and reverse video camera with cross traffic alert system.
The new Chevrolet Trailblazer 2017 facelift will contain the same 2.8-litre 4-cylinder Duramax diesel engine combined to a 6-speed automatic. The engine provides 200bhp of power at 3,600 rpm and 500Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm.
The suspension and braking system will be fine-tuned for better performance.
The new Trailblazer will have a cost within the variety of the present model. The SUV presently is priced at Rs 23.95 lakh ($35,305 ex-showroom, Delhi).
