Man faces DWI charges after crashing with 4-year-old in car

A male is dealing with DWI charges after drifting off the road and crashing into a concrete culvert with his 4-year-old boy in the car, deputies stated.

As per the officials, a male driving a pickup was driving northbound on Aldine Westfield Road at 2:45 a.m. Sunday when he drifted off the road.

He then collided into a ditch, hitting a concrete culvert, deputies stated.

According to authorities, his 4-year-old son was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in severe however stable condition.

The man was also required to the health center in stable condition.

Harris county Precinct 4 constable deputies stated he deals with various charges including DWI with a minor in the vehicle and causing physical injury to a minor.
