MINI has recently released the first teaser image of the specially designed Paceman that will be auctioned off for Life Ball 2013.
The current year’s model was designed by Roberto Cavalli and features a sparkling exterior paint that shimmers from black to brown depending on the incidence of light. Other details are not available about the model but the company says it has a stylish interior and Roberto Cavalli’s logo on the roof.
Cavalli said that this project of MINI was an exciting and a wonderful one and it gave him the opportunity to be creative and finally use something very special which he had personally invented and already used for years for his own vehicles. This very special thing is a unique iridescent paint which changes color depending on the way the light illuminates the pigments.
The Cavalli-designed Paceman will be unveiled on May 24 and will be auctioned off in the Hall of Ceremonies at Vienna’s Hofburg palace on May 25. All proceeds from the auction will go towards projects dedicated to fight diseases such as AIDS and HIV.
