Nissan’s 370Z makes fun of the Audi TT and Porsche Cayman

by Alex

Recently Nissan has hit Porsche into their hearts by way of a controversial advertising stunt that they have embarked upon, something that the company believes they are not yet done from showing off what they feel. And we hear it as their most recent hit list aims for their arch rivals and competitors the Audi TT.

In the dog eat dog world of competition in the sports coupe segment, Nissan is ultra careful they play their cards right in their attempt to win over new European converts. This strategy showed its color in London when a marketing team from Japan choose Audi TTS as the canvas to carry around the slogan “More expensive, slower and less powerful than a Nissan 370Z” around the streets of London. But this was not the end of it as the icing on the cake is left, what with another brand Porsche Cayman following the Audi TT with these words incribed on it, “I dream of being as fast as a Nissan 370Z.” All of these clearly shows Nissan means business. And some serious business indeed.

And as it is clearly visible that the cards are turning right for Nissan as they have being in the forefront by presenting award winning vehicles to the world which has also set the challenge for the top tier cars. Nissan is also concentrating on the media as they launch a massive media campaign which showcases the plus points of their Sports cars which have an edge in both performance as well as cost over their European counterparts while still coming in at a comparatively lower cost. As per Nissan’s Marketing Director, the whole idea of the new marketing strategy is to bring about a change in the mindset of the consumers that it is only the German sports cars that are the benchmark for such qualities like performance and quality.

Sure you would be all too eager to know a bit more of the 370Z and how it performs in relation to the the German trio, particularly after all the hard hitting claims of the 370Z being the superior sports coupe. You need not worry though as we have included the pictures of these specs, thanks to Nissan for this, Have fun!
