Most of the time, the Toyota Sienna is nothing but a car that the mothers out there use to take their children to school or to shop at some department stores. To put it simply, it is a car for moms. It does not look cool, not even the tiniest bit. Yet, it seems that when the car comes to the 2014 SEMA, everything can change, including its mom-car image.
Believe it or not, during the 2014 SEMA, Toyota is proudly putting on display a specially modified version of its Sienna. The Japanese automaker names the car the Sienna:Remix. The entire modifications, which are very cool to say the least, have been done by the Sirius XM together with the West Coast Customs. When you ride in such a car, you will not have to worry about finding an entertainment stage. The car is a walking stage, literally.
The modifications apply to both the exterior and interior aspects of the vehicle. On the outside, the car can now proudly roll out on the streets with style, thanks to its custom bespoke black wheels. In addition to that, it has also been treated with a custom front grille. Then, on the inside, the car has not one but two 40-inch LCDs, four 12-inch subwoofers and a total of 16 speakers. But you have yet to come to the most exciting bit of all. When the car slides its trunk out, a DJ booth will take the attention by coming out of the trunk. It has very capable audio system incorporating eight additional speakers. Heck, the car has even been equipped with 5 amplifiers that are accompanied by 2 32-band equalizers.
The real question now is why Toyota is doing such a thing. Well, it turns out that the Japanese automaker is determined to show everyone that even its mom-car can become a ride that is full of fun. Of course, with all the modifications, the Toyota Sienna:Remix still has its main functions as a car left intact. For those tempted to see the car in person, they can head to the 2014 SEMA between November 4 and 7, 2014.
