Two women died and a man and a woman were severely injured following a car crash in Long Beach’s South Wrigley neighborhood on early Monday morning.
The incident took place around 1:40 a.m. when a woman was driving a 2017 Honda Civic north on Pacific Avenue when the car struck into a blue 2015 Toyota Camry near Willard Street.
Each car had two occupants.
The driver of the Camry, identified as Catrina Carrillo-Ruiz, 19, of Long Beach, was admitted to the hospital died.
Her passenger, Frances Rodriguez, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Honda driver, a 44-year-old Los Angeles woman, and her passenger, a 30-year-old Gardena man, were admitted to the hospital. They were in critical but stable condition.
It is yet to be known that what caused the crash.
