Two people from Tenessee were killed on Thursday after a two-vehicle crash in Walker county, Texas.
Alabama State Troopers released the identities of the victims as Christian Barfield, 25, and Amber Couch, 25.
The crash took place at 3 p.m. on Interstate 22.
Barfield was driving a 2008 Honda Civic at a high rate of speed before losing control of the car.
The Honda crossed the median and hit a 2012 GMC Acadia.
Barfield and Couch, passengers of the Honda, were pronounced dead on the scene.
