2011 Porsche Carrera Black Edition: An all black Porsche beauty

by Alex

The future generation 911 model is the main item on which Porsche is currently focusing all their attention on. The 911 is yet sometime off and to keep the customers and the Porsche fans happy they are coming up with a special edition car which is based on the coupe and the cabrio versions of the 911 Carrera. They plan to come out with just 1,911 units of this special edition. Price of the cars would be between $81,300 to $85,320 for the Coupe in the US and between $91,300 to $95,320 for the Cabriolet. Sales of the cars would take effect from April of 2011.

The car is painted black as the name suggests. The options are plain black or metallic basalt black. The paint scheme is the same for the tops as well as interior. Based on a standard Carrera the special edition car would have a power rating of 345 hp. The technical specification of the special edition car would be the same as that of the Carrera models.
