With less that 2 days to go for official unveiling of the 2014 Corvette, the highly-expected sports car has been partly revealed thanks to the media.

The model will have an hostile design with sharper lines and improved aerodynamics.
Notable traits include recessed taillights, a rear spoiler and a center-mounted four tailpipe exhaust system.
Since only the car’s rear end has been revealed the media inevitably calls the C7 the “best Corvette design in 50 years.”

The sports car will be fitted with a new 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that features direct injection, continuously variable valve timing and an 11.5:1 compression ratio. This will enable the engine to produce approximately 450 bhp (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm) of torque which should help the ‘Vette to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds and return 26+ mpg highway.

The team involved in the project is proud and is anticipating a positive response from the buyers after being dubbed as the best concept design in 50 years.
Lot of pride is at stake and people associated with the project are keeping their fingers crossed since it is a suspense like situation because nobody is sure how many of the them would give their approval in favor of the car.

Stay tuned for more updates and information and do not forget to look at the pictures.
