The refurbished and restyled Mercedes Benz E Class has been unofficially leaked to the media just before its official unveiling.
This particular class has been restyled extensively to bring it inline with Mercedes newer models.
The standout change is to the E’s headlights. Reverting to one-piece design, the lights haven’t retain a connection to the pre-facelift model through the use of split LED lightened ribbons around each globe.
A larger and more prominent grille is also featured, along with bumper and a curvaceous redesign for front bumper. Changes to the E-Class’ sheet metal reveal the new character lines in the car’s profile, the large ‘pontoon’ style rear guards making there way for a softer and smoothed-out appearance.
Changes to the rear end are more subtle, with the tail-lights maintaining their existing shape but gaining redesigned internals. There is also a new chrome garnish style, and a subtly updated bumper with new exhaust tips.
Engine lineup will probably include the usual units, such as the V6 3.5-liter with 333 hp (248 kW), a turbocharged V8 4.6-liter with 435 hp (324 kW) and a V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo generating 537 hp (400 kW).
