2015 Audi Ultra A5 review

by SpeedLux

Audi has come up with an affordable coupe which is stylish too. The new A5 Ultra is equipped with smaller wheels and boosts good looks shine through. It has replaced the existing A5 Coupe TDLe.

The Audi A5 Ultra is tax-friendly and helps in improving the economy due to its rock-bottom running costs. It comes with punchy acceleration too along with excellent refinement as well as handsome styling.

The coupe is wrapped in a slinky three-door body providing emissions of 67.3mpg and 109g/km. The existing version provides 64.2mpg and 115g/km emissions. However, the output of it remains the same as the TDLe model but got increased torque from 380Nm to 400Nm. It speeds up to zero to 62mph in just 8.3 seconds.

The car is smooth too with four-cylinder diesel engine. Very little vibrations can be felt through the gearlever and pedals. Even hard acceleration the engine does not roars, rather it hums.

The gearshift of the new A5 is well oiled and so is the light and steering. The tight body control gives superb balance. The suspension of the car is lowered to improve air flow under it. It gives soothing suppleness.
