3 killed after wrong-way car crash on U.S. 169

Three people died on Monday after a wrong-way crash on a highway exit ramp in Tulsa.

The wrong-way vehicle hit a southbound car head-on in the inside southbound lane of U.S. 169 after 10 p.m.

The southbound car engulfed a passerby was ejecting two bodies out of the vehicle when Tulsa Police Department officials attended the scene.

The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, identified as Kristin Hussein, was also pronounced dead at the scene.

The traffic was diverted at the 81st Street exit for a couple of hours as the investigation into the crash continued.
