Four people were killed and two were injured after a two-car crash that took place on Thanksgiving evening in Lafourche Parish.
It was on Thursday around 5:00 p.m. when Louisiana State Police was notified of the crash on U.S. Highway 90 at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 182.
Police say the crash resulted in the deaths of 54-year-old identified as Barbera Guidry of Wiggins, Mississippi, 35-year-old identified as Catlin Leboeuf of Wiggins, 31-year-old identified as Dustin Moore of Raceland, and 30-year-old Michelle Moore of Raceland.
Guidry, the driver of Kia Optima, was stopped on LA Highway 182 at the intersection with U.S. Highway 90.
That time, a Ford F-250, driven by Dustin Moore, was traveling westbound on U.S. Hwy 90.
Guidry failed to yield to approaching traffic, entered the intersection, and was hit by the Ford.
After the crash, the Ford overturned causing the front occupants to be ejected from the car.
One passenger of Kia and a passenger in the Ford were admitted to the hospital.
The crash is currently under investigation.
