Four people were killed and three others were injured on Thursday after a car crash that involved an alleged migrant smuggling operation in Texas.
The incident occurred on Interstate 35 in Encinal, Texas when the driver suspected of human smuggling evaded law enforcement and struck a commercial vehicle.
Encinal is some 40 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border.
Four people were killed and three others were critically injured.
Texas Department of Public Safety investigated the crash.
They said updates will be provided “once they become available”.
