Four people died after a two-vehicle head-on car crash on Friday on an Upstate highway.
The crash took place just after 6 p.m. on South Carolina Highway 81 at Bradley Road when a Ford SUV was traveling south on SC 81, and it crossed over the center line striking a Honda SUV head-on.
Both drivers were killed, and two passengers in the Honda SUV died as well.
The 48-year-old driver of the Ford SUV was identified as William Douglas Larry and the 71-year-old driver of the Honda SUV was identified as Drew James Visioli.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other victims were the passengers in the Honda SUV, a 75-year-old identified as James Earl Lovorn and a 71-year-old identified as Peggy Hobbs Visioli. Lovorn died at the scene and Visioli succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
A 2-year-old male and a female passenger in the Honda SUV and a 11-year-old passenger in Ford SUV were all hospitalized.
A dog in the Ford was also killed in the crash.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
