Three people died in an early-morning crash which involved multiple vehicles in Thornton, Colorado. The intersection at 120th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard was shut down for several hours and resumed around 7:45 a.m. on Saturday.
Thornton police believe two vehicles were traveling whereas three others were stopped at a red light. Officlas say one or both of the moving vehicles caught on fire, and say three vehicles were engulfed in fire.
Three people who died were in the moving vehicles. Victims suffered trauma and injuries from the fires.
The incident is being investigated and officials are looking into the factor behind the crash.
