6 killed, 2 injured after vehicle fell into ravine in Besao, Philippines

Six teenagers were killed while two others were injured when the van they were occupying fell into a 250-foot ravine in Besao, Mountain Province, Philippines on Thursday.

The victims have been identified as

*Dalog Kawi Mangallay, 19, the driver;

*Lip-aw Aligan, 15;

*Rhema Sumingwa, 18;

*Merly Docyogen, 17;

*Hazel Solang, 19;

*Ken Lendel Kieth Alfonso, 19.

Injured were identified as Lander Maticyeng, 17, and Novelyn Sagantiyoc, 18.

Both were admitted to the local hospital.

The victims were mainly high school students from Mountain Province and Ilocos Sur.
