Seventy-six cars were broken into at an apartment building just steps from the Atlanta BeltLine overnight, according to police.
The break-ins took place at The Edge apartment complex along Edgewood Avenue.
Residents of the apartment complex came out to discover bags are thrown around and broken glass all over the ground after thieves smashed in windows to dozens of cars in the complex’s parking deck.
“Every car that I drove by literally had shattered glass on the ground,” one resident informed.
One resident said that he pays $1,800 every month for his one-bedroom apartment.
“You pay a premium price on top of that, and you don’t get premium service,” the resident stated.
These residences face the popular Eastside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine, which experiences a lot of traffic.
