There can never be enough auction houses for collectors of classic cars to buy and sell their vehicles to. Adding to RM, Bonhams and Barret-Jackson is Historics. The British auction house is now setting up shop at Brooklands. The location is perfect as it is the home of British motor racing. ccording to reports, the first auction is slated on June 2 at the Brooklands Museum. This event will feature $3.7 million worth of consignments.
The upcoming event will showcase classics like the 1930 Bentley 4.5-L Vanden Plas Tourer, a perfect ’68 Mini-Cooper S, and an uncommon Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe. The action house will bid off a total of 65 classic vehicles, among them, Camaros and Rolls Royces.
