Three adults were killed and three others, including two children, were injured Friday afternoon in a vehicle crash south of Germantown, Ohio.
The two-vehicle rollover crash was reported around 4 p.m. in the 8900 block of state Route 4 near Eby Road in German Township.
Police Chief Joseph Andzik said the two children were admitted to Dayton Children’s Hospital. Their condition was critical.
One adult was killed in the car in which the children were riding and two adults were killed in the minivan. A man riding in the minivan was injured and admitted to a local hospital in unknown condition, the chief said.
All of the victims belonged to the greater Valley View community, Andzik said.
The three adults who died were killed at the scene. Their names have not been revealed.
The car apparently was moving north on state Route 4 when it went off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and went across the road, and crashed with the minivan that was headed south on state Route 4. The vehicles struck at a T-bone angle.
It is yet to be known whether speed was a factor. There has been no indication if drugs or alcohol played a role.
