Three were killed after a car crash in the last night in the north of Wahoo, Saunders County, Nebraska.

This happened after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of HIghway 77 and Highway 109, north of Wahoo.

Nebraska State Patrol says a Pontiac Grand Am, driven by an 18-year-old identified as Monica Chohon, was driving southbound on Highway 109 and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection. After that, an unknown vehicle headed east stopped in the left lane of Highway 77, and then the Pontiac tried to go through the intersection but was hit by an eastbound Dodge Ram 3500 that had been moving in the right lane of Highway 77.

The crash caused the Pontiac to roll into the south ditch of the intersection.

The Monica Chon and two other occupants of the Pontiac, 11-year-old James Chohon, and 7-year-old Andrew Chohon, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ram, Tobias Hartung, 40, had no injuries.

The crash is being investigated and NSP has encouraged anyone with information to contact at 402-479-4921.
