2 killed after two-vehicle in Leesburg, Virginia

Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer on Wednesday morning in Leesburg, Virginia.

According to the Leesburg Police Department, two women traveling on U.S. Highway 441 turned left in front of a tractor-trailer that was going north.

The two vehicles crashed with each other after that.

Officers said the driver of the car, identified as Jacqueline Edmonds, and an unidentified passenger died in the crash.

The crash is under investigation and more details are expected to be released.
