Two people were killed after a car crash on Thursday in Southwest Memphis.
It took place close to the corner of South Third and Shelby Drive around midnight.
There was the involvement of two cars in the head-on collision.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people who live feet away from where the crash happened saw the scene they both describe as horrific.
The flames incinerated one of the cars.
A barricade was soon put up on South Third as Memphis Police Department started to investigate the crash, forcing drivers to find alternate routes.
It is yet to be known what caused the crash.
