Two killed after pickup truck fell into ocean at Northern California beach

Two people died and one person might be missing after a pickup truck fell off a cliff into the Pacific Ocean at a Northern California beach.

The crash took place at 9 p.m. on Friday.

The crash took place at Pescadero State Beach in San Mateo County, south of San Francisco, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

A pickup truck accelerated across a Highway 1 intersection into the beach parking lot without stopping, before falling off a 30-foot cliff.

A man and a girl were discovered dead after the crash.

Officials believe a third person might be in the vehicle but hasn’t been found yet.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
