The Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR-X may not be much of a car to revel in or talk about or even see about but there is a lot of livery that is associated with this car that is worth mentioning about or to take note about.
The color of this Viper is near similar to the one Jeff Koons used for the BMW M3 Art Car. This was the car that had participated in the 2010 24 hours Le Mans which was held last month. This car had even fared better than the original and had won the inaugural Dodge Viper Cup which was at during the weekend at the Virginia International Raceway.
The car was driven by Ben Keating and the Viper ACR-X had completed the flag to flag race in first place. There was also a photo finish for the second place with a vehicle that had Jeff Courtney behind the wheel.
There is no comment, either official or unofficial of their Art Car already being imitated. But what’s interesting is the copycat has gone on to achieve something that the original couldn’t do – that of winning a race and this in itself is an achievement to be noted.
