Dodge Viper Roadster limited edition breaks cover

by Alex

Turning the Viper in a factory customized vehicle has to be credited to Dodge. Full fledged production of the car is soon to be commenced, but before that happens Dodge would be releasing some special editions and even some exclusive editions of the car to come.

They made the exclusive Vipers for some of their leading dealers and then they also created the ACR-X model which was meant for racing. The Dodge Viper Cup series is the line of cars for racing from Dodge. Then there was the crazy Viper created as a resultant output of the racing championship. They have also made the hardcore version of the road legal Viper that’s the American Club Racer.

Woodhouse Dodge, the leading dealer of Dodge has requested the company to remove the roof of the Viper ACR, as per news from Autoweek. The dealer was given 20 units of the car by Dodge’s SRT division.

It was an engineering feat to be accomplished by the team at Dodge as the aerodynamic rigidity of the body had to be compensated for once the roof was removed. The car was named the Viper SRT10 Convertible ACR Woodhouse.

Along with the aerodynamic package the car also has notable features like adjustable suspension, a new brake system and rims added with the modified gear box.
