The event would be the MPH The Prestige & Performance Motor Show scheduled to be held in November. The incident would be unveiling of the Cayenne 902 Coupe in a 3 door version rather than the 5 door one. The tuning company is UK based Merdad and the announcement comes from the company itself.
Both cars however are based on the second generation Porsche Cayenne SUV. There would be a variety of styling upgrades as well as performance upgrades that would be applied to the base model. For the power there is an expected output of 550 to 750 hp. Acceleration factor of the highest model would be 0 to 60 mph that is 96 kmph in 4.4 seconds. The MPH show would reveal exact and fuller details of the cars.
The main person involved in the tuning company who also owns it is known only by his surname, that of Merdad. He has the experience of five years work with Uwe Gemballa behind him. Even his website does not divulge any more about the person.
He states about the Cayenne SUV “We are very proud that this creation has brought together many British engineers and designers who have contributed to bringing this fantastic beast to the table.”
He also went on to add “We now feel the time is right to unveil the Merdad Cayenne 902 Coupe and the Merdad 5 door to the world at MPH and are excited to see what the visitors to the show think of its unique design and unbelievable power will truly set the show and the rest of the world alight.”
As is the normal practice, there would be two MPH shows held. One at the Earls Court scheduled from November 4th to 7th and which would feature Top Gear Live. The second show would be held at NEC, Birmingham from November 11th to the 14th.
