As you know already, Rimac One Concept will debut at 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. Today, we showed you a teaser video of this electric supercar. Now, the car maker raise the bet by releasing some more teasers. This time, we get photos, but these give us a more clear image of the vehicle.
The latest pictures show the front end of the car, its silhouette, as well as a few details. The Rimac One Concept seems to have the same architecture as the Audi R8 e-tron concept, four electric motors each powering one of the wheels.
According to Rimac’s web site, the drivetrain will feature two independent systems with both front and rear drive, so this means that the car will benefit from all-wheel drive. Impressive, isn’t it? Well here comes the most interesting part because these engines are good for a total output of 1088 PS and 3800 Nm (theoretical) of torque!
This car weighs 1650 kg and, according to the Croatian car maker, does the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 2.8 seconds. One Concept’s top speed is electronically-limited to 305 km/h (190 mph) and range on the vehicle is 600 km (373 miles).
At a glance this numbers seems pretty amazing and it’s hard to believe that they are true, but the good news is that you’ll have the chance to see the car in action pretty soon because the Rimac One is set for debut at the upcoming IAA Frankfurt Motor Show, on September 13th, at 15:00.
