Another image of the second generation Volt has been disclosed by Chevrolet. It is planned to go with its debut at NAIAS in January 2015. Chevrolet is more willing to give details about the complete designing of the sedan rather than conversing about the actual car. Only scarce information of the sedan is available at present. The GM formerly announced that the coupe will also be able to travel on electric power about 50 to 60 miles which is approximately 80 to 96 kilometer or still more. The current model of the sedan can travel up to a distance of 38 miles which is just about 61 kilometer.
The initial level variant is expected to be featured with a small electric range and a battery pack. The sedan is structured to be very lighter and sleek-looking than the model available at present. The second generation Volt will be considerably more economical. Though it was said by Dan Akerson, the CEO of general motors that with the selling of each car they lose money, a price cut-down is estimated by Chevrolet around $7000 and $ 10,000. Officially it is revealed that second generation. The sedan is set for debut in January 2015 at the North American international Auto Show in Detroit.
