Arizona man found hiding meth in car

A man traveling from Georgia to Arizona was detained during a traffic stop on Wednesday after police stated they discovered drugs in his car.

Around 3:15 p.m. Hinds County deputies and Morton police pulled over a 2004 Acura, officers stated.

Officers discovered more than 3 ounces of ice hidden in a compartment in the dash of the car.

The suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and has been alleged of drug trafficking and booked at the Scott County Jail, police stated.
