Aston Martin V12 Zagato – To be Released at Geneva Motor Show

by Site Default

The first pictures of the Zagato were released in 2010. Later, in 2011, the concept was revealed at the Villa d’Este design concept. It is scheduled to be released at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and be Aston Martin’s main piece of work for this Motor Show.

This supercar represents the 50 years of collaboration between Aston and the Italian car design company, Zagato. Some might say that this car looks a bit like the Nissan GT-R, but we can’t really accuse the people from Zagato for being voided of originality. The bumper is entirely new and has a more rounded shape. The pavilion keeps also keeps its rounded carriage, which is typical for British supercars.

The engine, as the name says, is a V12. The capacity of each of the 12 cylinders is 6.0-liters, and the total power that the engine can deliver is 510 horsepower. The transmission fitted on the Zagato by the British from Aston will be a six-speed manual.

The interior is very spacious for a supercar of this class. The seats look comfortable and supportive.

There will only be about 150 of these vehicles made, so if you’ve got $520,000 and plan on buying a hot British supercar, you should hurry.
