Audi has posted a sales increase of 10 percent in September. It has sold around 150,300 vehicles last month.
In the US the company saw a sales increase of 6.2 percent and in China it was 28.2 percent last month compared to the same period in 2012. In Europe the auto giant saw a sales rise of just 3 percent.
From January 2013 to September 2013 the Audi AG’s global sales reached to 1,180,750, an increase of 7.6 percent.
Audi AG’s Member of the Board of Management for Sales Luca de Meo said that even though the market conditions were difficult in recent months, but the company has managed to post stronger sales in the first three quarters compared to the same period last year. He added that the Q3, Q5 and A3 Sportback were the key products of their total sales figure.
In the beginning of 2013 around 150,400 units of vehicles were sold of Audi’s entire A3 family. Also, the recent addition of its successful model series such as the A3 Sedan added to the sales increase.
Also, in the Europe Audi managed to complete the September month with an increase in sales, even though if it was low.
