Audi Q2 deliverance Released, to Debut in 2015

by SpeedLux

Audi has decided to expand its crossover range and the first step in this direction is the release of a new vehicle that will be placed under the Q2 in 2015.

Previously designated as the Q1, it has changed over to Q2 ever since it debuted at the Paris motor show last year.

The changeover also offered a peek into Audi’s forthcoming concepts, as it uses a structure that mixes aluminum with carbon and carbon fiber reinforced fiberglass. But it would be premature to tell if the Q2 will make use of such a structure.

The Q2 will have a wheelbase of 2.5 meters (inches), which will placed in between the A1 and A3 and will it will compete against the likes of MINI Countryman.

The Q2 is expected to arrive in both two- and four-door versions and offer 2WD or AWD, while power is likely to get boost from downsized turbocharged petrol and diesel engines with outputs of up to 200 hp. The vehicle could probably be the recipient of a hybrid engine as well.

So its official that the Q2 is likely to make its presence felt in 2015 and Audi is moving in the right direction.
