Audi has the momentum going by unveiling another R8 special edition in China.
Covered in exclusive Cool Nordic Gold paint, the car has matte black trim, titanium grey accents and 19-inch alloy wheels. There’s also matte carbon fiber on the mirrors, side blades and rear wing.
The cabin is intricately equipped with Alcantara sport seats, “shark skin” leather knee pads and Cool Nordic Gold trim.
Also added are the carbon fiber door handles and an individually-numbered aluminum gear knob.
Power comes from a 5.2-liter V10 engine that develops 525 HP (386 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque.
It is connected to an R tronic transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system which enables the model to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
Only 30 units will be produced to begin with and price starts at 2,628,000 Yuan ($422,820 / €317,435).
We need to know more about the car performance and other features in particular so only thing we can do is to hold our breath and wait patiently till the required information is disclosed at the showrooms when sale picks up.
