The vehicle driver of a Corvette that turned in a South Richmond area Sunday early morning has passed away as well as a traveler remains hospitalized.
Police said the single-vehicle accident took place around 9 a.m. in the 4000 block of Crutchfield Street as well as resulted in both passengers suffering injuries, with one traveler being expelled from the automobile.
Harry West saw the accident and stated that the driver sped through an intersection, struck a visual and also the auto went air-borne.
“It hit the aesthetic and also went airborne to my right and also through three next-door neighbors backyards,” West stated. “The manner in which car was spinning in the air, and also particles were originating from the auto. I’ve never seen anything like that.”
West stated that the automobile after that got a number of bushes prior to flipping over and also landing on one neighbor’s front yard. He called 911 and then went to check on the sufferers.
Cops have not yet revealed the name of the driver killed or the traveler wounded in the crash.
