German tuner Geiger Cars is one of the few local tuners that specializes in American cars. Their latest project is based on the 432 horsepower Chevrolet Camaro SS.
Engineers at Geiger fitted the 6.2-liter V8 with a supercharger, that boosts the power to 568 hp.
Torque is increased from 420 lb-ft to 590 lb-ft. The hot flue gas stream leaves the combustion chamber via a fan-type elbow with sport catalysts and roars through the stainless steel Geiger manufactured sport exhaust system.
No information on the 0-60 mph time, but the top speed is now an impressive 314 km/h (195 mph) thanks the reduction of the end gear ratio.
Engineers also installed coilovers and adjustable sports anti-roll bars on front and rear axels to get this power under control. Stock 20-inch wheels are replaced with new 22-inch wheels that are housing 380mm brake discs with six pistons up front and 355mm discs with four pistons in the back.
