China October vehicle sales increased 20 percent

Passenger automobile sales in China to retail consumers increased 20 percent in October from a year previously, the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) stated on Tuesday.

Automobile retail sales amounted to 2.2 million cars in October, CPCA stated in a declaration on its website. For January-October, automobile sales increased 15.2 percent versus the exact same duration in last year, it stated.

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, whose stats are usually deemed the standard for the market, is because of report wholesale information for October on Thursday.

The CPCA anticipated 13 percent rise in passenger car sales for 2016, state media reported previously on Tuesday.
