New Citroen C3 has achieved a milestone with 10,000 sales in the UK

During its first six months, new Citroen C3 has sold 10,000 units in the UK, becoming Citroen’s top-selling model in the nation.
Overall, almost 160,000 sales have now been recorded for C3. The appeal of the model is confirmed by the numerous influential awards received for the car (more than 25 worldwide) and a total client rating of 4.7 stars (out of 5) on Citroen Advisor.
This impressive performance verifies the exceptional appeal of New C3, in addition to the UK results such as;
- More than 60% of sales in the top-end Flair trim (with ConnectedCAM Citroën™ as standard)
- More than 95% of sales with a two-tone (body/roof) paint finish
- More 64% of cars sold with Airbump® panels
- The striking supermini was regarded ‘Best Urbanite’ in BBC TopGear magazine’s ‘Best Cars in the World’ edition, before the car’s official launch. New Citroen C3 was also ‘Commended’ previous month in the Auto Express New Car Awards 2017. The car was noted for its ‘fashionable’ looks and ‘calming’ interior, making it ideal for city life.
With the launch of ConnectedCAM Citroen™ – globally first built-in dashcam – New C3 enables the motorist and front passenger to safely take photos or videos that can be quickly shared through social media using a free app. It also functions as a conventional dashcam in the event of an on-road collision.
The high-performance powertrain options are effective and economical with PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel engines, and the latest generation EAT6 fully automatic gearbox provided as part of the range.
