A 41-year-old man in San Antonio, Texas, was hit by a bullet while he was driving on the city’s West Side Monday night, San Antonio police said.
Officers were called around 10 p.m. to a motel located in the 2600 block of SW Loop 410 after getting word about a shooting.
According to the officials, the driver and a 34-year-old passenger were in the 6500 block of Enrique Barrera Parkway and were at a turnaround when they heard a noise and the driver felt there was something on the back of his shoulder.
The passenger felt something hit his left hand and found a bullet inside the car. The pair drove to the motel where they asked for help.
Investigators say the men had no details about the incident except that it may have been someone inside a blue Mustang. Officers investigated the area for suspects and vehicle, but haven’t found anyone involved.
The 41-year-old driver didn’t have a serious injury but had a minor cut to the back of his left shoulder from a graze of the bullet. He was treated by EMS. The passenger had a small burn on top of the left hand.
Until now, no arrests have been made in the case. The investigation into the shooting is continued.
