European version Chevrolet Spark EV to halt at Geneva

by SpeedLux

Chevrolet has announced that they will bring the European version of the Spark EV to the Geneva Motor Show.

After the launch for the US version last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, this time it is its European companion which will see it being launched in March.

As per expectations it will have the same electric motor which produces 130 hp (100 kW) and 542 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque, sufficient for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) journey in less than eight seconds. In order to charge the 20 kWh lithium-ion battery to a decent level it takes about 20 minutes, while using a normal 230V outlet it requires around six to eight hours to charge fully.

In case of amenities there are two full color seven-inch LCD screens inside the cabin, a back view camera, as well as Chevrolet’s link function.

We don’t have any further updates as far as performance and features are concerned but since the concept will makes its debut at Geneva we expect to get hold of more information instantly.

Have a look at the pictures and stay tuned for further updates.
